Sales Support Coordinator- Baltimore, MD

Part-time position to help support a growing coffee roasting cooperative.

Thread Coffee Roasters, Inc. is a women & queer-owned coffee roasting company based in Baltimore, Maryland. We’re growing and we’re looking for a new team member- we look forward to hearing what you could contribute! 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Research and pursue new wholesale opportunities 
• Manage current relationships, including in-person visits locally. Be the main point of contact to support accounts as needed. 
• Manage sales inbox. Respond to incoming leads in a timely manner.
• Develop a strong sales pipeline, conducting consistent outreach to land new accounts 
• Host prospective and current clients at the roastery. 
• Participate in weekly all team meetings

Job Details: 

• This is an in-person position based out of our roastery in Baltimore, Maryland, with frequent visits to our local partners 
• Schedule: Part time, 20 hours a week with some flexibility in schedule. 
• Pay: $20/hour
• Benefits: 401k with 1% match, PTO, sick leave, monthly health stipend, eligibility for worker-ownership

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years previous work experience in coffee
• Extensive knowledge of espresso and brewing techniques. Ability to assist with barista training as required.
• Passion for coffee and ethical trade and a familiarity with Thread Coffee’s values
• Strong public speaking and writing skills 
• Ability to adapt to a quickly changing work environment that sometimes requires urgency. 
• Strong organizational skills and a self starter. Ability to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver license
